Q. Aeration for thatch control?
A. Yes, excellent for thatchy or compacted soils! Aeration removes thousands of cores of soil 1/2-3/4" in diameter, loosens the soil, increases soil oxygen and root depth, and thus facilitates more rapid thatch decomposition.
