LAWN CARE

Q. When should I water?

A. The best time to water is early morning to mid-afternoon. This gives the leaves an opportunity to dry before evening and helps curb some diseases which require free surface moisture to infect the lawn. Watering in the heat of the day helps cool the turf and is not harmful unless it puddles. If your only opportunity to water is in the evening, this is preferable to not watering.
